Regional Trainer - Job Description
ABOUT THE JOBThe Regional Trainer reports to the Director of Operations Services and is a restaurant operations expert that is willing to travel in the region to open new stores and help evolve the store training program. Additionally, this role will offer training support for Chester’s field team members and Business Developers in the region.
THE WORK YOU’LL DO
- Assist operators to conduct new store team training. Coordinates training plans including verification that all training materials and tools are ready.
- Participates in tradeshows and grand openings within a geographically defined area.
- Guides and supports operators to ensure compliance with all brand requirements.
- Works closely with Distributors to ensure that the new store operator has their initial inventory.
- Conducts on-site educational workshops and training sessions for operators and store team members.
- Provides re-training support for operators and store team members as needed
- Complete a variety of administrative duties including follow-ups, weekly expense reports, preparation of classes, etc.
- Ensures that required reports and records are accurately created and are timely in their submission.
- Ensure physical facilities comply with company brand standards.
- Ensures training standards and guidelines are followed at new and existing stores
- Ensures food safety and sanitation guidelines and Chester’s brand standards are followed at new and existing stores.
- Must achieve acceptable Store Excellence Visit ratings at new locations
THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL BRING
- Proven experience in designing, developing & implementing successful training programs.
- Proven skills in utilizing adult learning theory to effectively train employees at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to resolve field problems: immediate attention and adequate assistance is provided to distributors and customers.
- Committed to fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn industry specific software programs.
- 75% travel and evening engagements required. Occasional weekend work.
